About me
​Born in 1990. He began his musical studies at the age of five at the Municipal School of Music "La casa dels nens", currently the EMME.
​
At the end of the elementary stage, he entered the Barcelona Municipal Conservatory of Music, with the highest qualifications, where he was a student of the harp professor Mª Lluïsa Ibañez, who in turn had been a student of Rosa Balcells. At the Conservatory he studied with renowned teachers such as Xavier Boliart (harmony and composition) or Albert Argudo (orchestral practice) and finished his professional degree in 2009 with the Conservatory's Honorable Mention.

In 2011 he began his higher studies at ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya) with Magdalena Barrera. There he also worked with teachers such as Emilio Molina (improvisation), Kennedy Moretti (chamber) among others. Throughout this stage he was able to be under the baton of Antoni Ros Marbà, Salvador Brotons or Edmond Colomer. It is also during this period that he deepens in choral conducting with the courses organized by the FCEC.

In addition to regular studies, he has been able to work with several renowned harpists in the summer courses organized by the Catalan Association of Harpists. In addition, he has delved into the world of composition and orchestration thanks to master Josep Soler.
​
After completing his higher degree, he joined the Eixample Municipal Music School as a teacher where he has been the current harp teacher since 2015. In addition, from January 2017 he is the director of the Choir Youth of the Orfeó Atlântida, and from March 2023 of the choral mass of the Orfeó.
He has participated in several orchestras in the country, and has also orchestrated and arranged music for different formations and projects.
Ariadna Mata

About me
​Born in 2001 in Barcelona, ​​Ariadna began her musical studies at the age of eight at the Musicant music school in the Navas neighborhood. He has an intermediate degree in piano and solfege and has sung in all the school choirs throughout his academic years, in addition to participating multiple times in the international 'WIC' choirs for students from schools that follow the musical pedagogy of Edgar Williams.

At the age of eighteen, he became interested in choral conducting and has so far obtained two conducting qualifications: the first from the FCEC (Catalan Federation of Choral Entities) and the last from the SCIC (Secretariat of Children's Choirs of Catalonia ).
​
Currently, she is a teacher and director of the children’s choirs of the Musicant school since 2021 and of the Ramones de Collblanc choir since 2023; she sings in a vocal group in the Sants neighborhood and has her own personal project as a singer-songwriter.
​
Ariadna, in addition to dedicating herself to music, has a degree in Journalism and works in a communications consultancy specializing in culture. She also holds the title of leisure instructor and has been in contact with leisure education since she was sixteen.
